Dental Continuing Education comes in many, many different forms. And they are ALL welcome on Dave’s Dental CE. Examples of Course Types that are on Dave’s Dental include:

No. To search and find Courses, you never have to give us your name or email address.
If you want to use some of the more advanced features of the website, we need to know who you are. We can’t send you email notifications without knowing your email. We can’t save your favourite courses, send you our newsletter, etc. without knowing who you are. We can’t have a CE Provider answer a question you might have without having them know where to respond. We will never sell your personal information to any marketing company, etc. You can opt out of receiving any correspondence from us whenever you want, but we hope you’ll look forward to receiving what we send you. See the Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy for a more detailed summary of our policies. Remember, even if you create an account, it’s always free.

Once you click on a Course’s information box, a detailed page for that specific course will come up. On that detailed Course page, just click on the “Contact this Provider” button and you’ll be given their contact info and you’ll have the ability to email them directly.

If you have a Dental Professional account you need to be logged in to utilize the email search notification feature (if you forget, dont worry, the system will direct you to log in when you use this feature). Login.

The email search notification feature is an amazing feature of our website. You can use it to be notified by email when courses become available that match any search criteria you want. You can set up very specific or very general (or anything in between) search criteria.

Sign up for the email search notification feature by clicking on the right sidebar box that appears after any search.

Access this feature from your Dental Professional account.

Use this feature if:

  • A course matching certain search criteria doesnt exist and you want to be notified if and when it does become available (i.e. Endo Course in Juno, Alaska)
  • You want to be notified any time a new course is available that matches certain criteria (i.e. you live in Chicago and you want to be notified when a new course becomes available in the Chicago area)
  • You really enjoy a certain topic or speaker, etc and you want to be notified any time a new course related to that topic, speaker, etc becomes available (i.e. you want to be notified every time a new Nobel Biocare course becomes available)
  • For any reason there is a course matching a certain search criteria that you wish to be notified about

Many CE Providers are single Dental Professionals that put on courses. Of course, we welcome such individuals to peruse our courses as a dental professional and to ensure their courses are accurate and up to date as a CE Provider.
Note that the accounts within DavesDentalCE.com for Dental Professionals and for CE Providers offer different features for different uses and thus you should have both an account as a Dental Professional and an account as a CE Provider.

Dave’s Dental CE is a directory of Dental Continuing Education (CE) Events (courses, conferences, etc.). Dave’s Dental CE is not a Provider of Dental CE Events… We don’t put on courses…. We just help you find Courses and get in touch with the Providers that put on the CE Events that match your demands.

If you don’t have a Dental Professional account yet, you need to sign up and create an account to use the Contact History feature. It’s easy and quick. And Free.

If you have a Dental Professional account you need to be logged in to utilize the Contact History feature. It is only accessable from your account profile.

Our website will keep track for you all your email queries to CE Providers that you do through our system. It is meant to help you keep track of your initial questions to the CE Providers. We do not see and thus cannot keep track of any follow up emails between you and the CE Provider.

If you have an account and you are not logged in, the system will not track these initial queries to the CE Providers.

Note that you can always contact the providers, with or without an account. The system simply wont keep track of your history without an account or if you are not logged in.

If you have a Dental Professional account you need to be logged in to utilize the Favourite Course or Provider features (if you forget, dont worry, the system will direct you to log in when you use this feature). Login.

Use the Favourite Course feature to keep a list of your favourite courses so that you can view them again easilly.

Use the Favourite Provider feature to easilly view all the courses offered by your favourite provider.

You can set any course as a Favourite from its description box, its Course rating box or its detailed course page.

You can set any provider as a Favourite from the Provider rating box found on any courses detailed course page.

You can access both features from your Dental Professional account.

If you have a Dental Professional account you need to be logged in to utilize the Saved Your Search feature (if you forget, dont worry, the system will direct you to log in when you use this feature). Login.

The Save Your Search feature was created to allow you a shortcut when you find you are repeating the same search(es) often. It allows you to name and save any set of search criteria and easilly run the search at different times.

Sign up for the Save Your Search feature by clicking on the right sidebar box that appears after any search.

Access this feature from your Dental Professional Account.

Firstly, remember that to search for Courses and to contact CE Providers, you don’t need an account. You only need to set up an account if you want to:

  • Sign up for email notifications of courses
  • Save your searches
  • Save you Favourite Courses
  • Save your Favourite CE Providers
  • Rate and Review CE Courses and Providers

To create an account you can click here and follow the instructions, or you can click on the “Register/Log in” tab at the very top of almost any page in the website and just follow the simple instructions.

Of course. But before you do, remember that this is free marketing to exactly your target audience… Dental Professionals seeking Courses, Conferences, etc. Why wouldn’t want to have a presence on Dave’s Dental CE?
If you wish to delete your CE Provider Courses from Dave’s Dental CE you can either enter your CE Provider account and hide or delete the listed Courses, or you can contact us and we will do it for you. But once again, why would you want to?

Of Course. You can increase or decrease which Upgrade Plan you’re on whenever you want. And of course, you can cancel whenever you want also.
Note that if you change plans, you’re credit card will immediately be charged the new rate. Any discrepencies between the old rate and the new rate will appear on your credit card bill within days (credit or debit). This discrepancy is only applied towards the time between the new rate payment and the beginning of the next payment cycle, where the new rate will be applied.
Note if you cancel your plan, no refund or partial refund will be issued for any unused time between the time you cancel and your next monthly payment. You will have full access to the Upgrade Plan you were on until it stops at your next billing cycle.

Absolutely not! Our goal is to be the most extensive database of CE Events. We encourage you to upload all your Courses for free into our Website. And why wouldn’t you? It’s free marketing for you to the largest concentration in the Dental World of exactly your target audience… Dental Professionals looking for CE Courses. Of course, if you want even more Dental Professionals to see your course, contact you and sign up, you should review our Upgrade options, but it’s not a requirement.

Only CE Providers that have purchased a paid Upgrade Plan are eligible to purchase the Homepage Add-On. 
Only a maximum of 12 (twelve) Courses will be in the Homepage rotation during any time period.
Only a maximum of 3 (three) Courses will be shown on the Homepage each time (rotating through the 12) ·
Dave’s Dental CE reserves the right to change the fee and or use structure of the Homepage Add-On Feature at any time (Don’t worry, we’ll let you know before we do any changes).
If you currently have not purchased an Upgrade Credit Plan, see our Subscriptions Plans for the plans and fees.
If you currently are paying for an Upgrade Plan, please log in and access the Homepage Add-On from your Account Page.

It’s really easy and quick.
When you Create a CE Provider account you are immediately given the option to begin entering your Course information.
If you already have a CE Provider account, just log in and click on “Add a New Course” and follow the simple instructions.

The best way to ensure that Dental Professionals are always aware of your most current Course offerings is to enter into your CE Provider account and update the information as soon as you finalize your CE Event’s details.
To ensure that Dave’s Dental CE is as accurate as can be for our Dental Professionals, Dave’s Dental CE will, using whatever available sources we can find, update each CE Provider’s Courses on our website ourselves. But due to the sheer number of CE Providers, we will only check each CE Provider once every few months so there will be delays in getting some information onto our site. The best way to ensure that your information is current and updated is to do it yourself.

You can choose how many Courses you wish to Upgrade per month. You then can purchase Upgrade credits to match your needs. The options are 1, 5, 10 or unlimited (Yes, Unlimited!). You pay one monthly fee to purchase your Upgrade Credits and then you can Upgrade the corresponding number of your Courses each month. You can pick which of your courses you wish to Upgrade and you can change which of your Courses are Upgraded whenever you want and as often as you want. Our system will charge your credit card once per month, on the same day every month as the day you initially signed up (or the day you changed plans). i.e. every 17th of the month or every 6th of the month, etc.

  • Courses you choose to upgrade are shown within the top group of courses that match a Dental Professional’s search criteria (versus non-Upgraded Courses)

  • On the Detailed Course Page, only your company’s Courses are shown in the “You Might Also Find Interesting” section. For ALL your Courses. 
  • You may be considered to be highlighted in the “About Provider’s” section of the website
  • You can choose to purchase the Homepage Add-On
  • You can show photos related to the Course
  • More benefits are in the process of being developed

Dave’s Dental CE is a directory of Dental Continuing Education (CE) Events (courses, conferences, etc.). Dave’s Dental CE is not a Provider of Dental CE Events… we don’t put on courses…. We just provide the ideal environment for Dental Professionals to find your Courses.

Almost any educational event that may be of interest to Dental Professionals. Recognized CE Points/Credits are not an absolute requirement to be listed on Dave’s Dental CE, but there must be a reasonable and demonstrable benefit specifically to Dental Professionals. For example, Courses on Financial Management would most likely qualify while Courses on Buying Time Share Condos would probably not qualify. Dave's Dental CE reserves the right to make any and all final judgements regarding the acceptability of any Course listed or to be listed on Dave’s Dental CE.
If a Course is deemed inappropriate for Dave’s Dental CE, the course will be removed from public viewing and you will receive an email from Dave’s Dental CE requesting you to explain why you believe the Course should be viewable.
Repeated posting of inappropriate Courses may lead to Dave’s Dental CE prohibiting further postings (of any kind) from that CE Provider. An email will be sent to you requesting an explanation.
Dave’s Dental CE reserves the right to immediately prohibit a CE Provider from further Course posting due to a posting deemed offensive (at the sole discretion of Dave’s Dental CE).

Any entity (dental professional, company, non-profit organization, etc.) that puts on courses that are of interest to Dental Professionals. The course does not have to be dental in nature but it must be relevant to a Dental Professional. Click here to open a CE Provider account and immediately you can begin uploading your courses. Other companies, etc. that wish to market to the dental community but are not Dental CE Providers are encouraged to contact us to advertise on our website, but will not be allowed to use the Post Courses function on the website.

It is our goal to be the most extensive directory of Dental CE Events. Thus for many CE Provider companies, we have been proactive and already loaded many Courses into our database ourselves.
You should have been contacted by one of our representatives already, but if you haven’t please contact us and we will get in touch with you ASAP to answer any questions you may have or to access your CE Provider account.

When you register as a new CE Provider you are given the opportunity to immediately begin entering your Course information for the Dental Professionals to see.
To ensure that the integrity of Dave’s Dental CE remains as an information service for Dental Professionals searching for Dental CE, any new CE Provider is evaluated (to be an “authorized” CE Provider on Dave’s Dental CE) by a member of our staff to ensure that they are actually a company that provides Dental CE and not some other type of company trying to market to the dental community. ·  
Once a CE Provider is “authorized” by Dave’s Dental CE, (within a couple of days at most) all the initially entered Courses are immediately viewable by the Dental Professionals on Dave’s Dental CE. You will receive an email informing you of your “authorized” or “not-authorized” status. All future Courses uploaded by an “authorized” CE Provider are immediately viewable by Dental Professionals.
Note that all Courses are randomly reviewed by Dave’s Dental CE staff and any inappropriate (non-Dental CE or offensive) Course postings will be immediately removed and you may risk being prohibited from posting further Courses on Dave’s Dental CE.
